Gryphon Tea Company is extremely honoured to be the official tea sponsor for the 23rd ICAP Charity Day held on 9 December 2015. The annual event was graced by Singapore President Tony Tan and saw over 200 guest attendees. First organised in 1993, the ICAP Charity Day donates one day of its revenues and commissions to charities all over the world. Since its inauguration, ICAP Charity Day has supported more than 1800 projects worldwide.

While the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were busy closing deals in London, President Tony Tan too got busy himself. Joining the brokers on the trading ground, Dr Tan successfully closed four trades worth over $230 million. The Singapore charities that are set to benefit this year are The President's Challenge, the Breast Cancer Foundation, the Autism Association (Singapore) and the Bone Marrow Donor Programme.

The brokers tossed their conventional white collar outfits aside, and brought quirky and one-of-a-kind to the fashion table. You see the Flintstones staring hard into their screens, Aladdin closing a deal, a milkmaid constantly on the phone, and Captain America making coffee in the pantry. Overnight, the ICAP office transformed into a vibrant jungle of colours and characters. For a while, you almost forgot that these guys are professional brokers.

A big thank you to ICAP for having us on board such a meaningful event. We're beyond thrilled to be able to give back, albeit in the slightest way possible. No effort is ever too small!
